I’m broken, do you hear me?
I’m blinded, ‘cause you are everything I see,
I’m dancin’ alone, I’m praying,
That your heart will just turn around.
“Look at him. The face of a bad angel and eyes like the night sky in Hell. He’s very pretty, and vampires like that. I can’t say I mind either.” –Magnus Bane

“I am one of the Clave. It’s in my blood and bones. So tell me, if you’re so sure this wasn’t my fault, why is it that the first thought in my mind when I saw Abbadon wasn’t for my fellow warriors but for you? I know-I knew-Alec wasn’t acting like himself. I knew something was wrong. But all I could think about was you…”

Anonymous asked: Who would by your choices to play Will, Jem, and Tessa if there was going to be a movie?
You know, this is such a tough question…I can never settle on who my favourite fancast version of Will is.
If we’re going realistic options, I like Douglas Booth for Will. He was apparently up for Jace so clearly wouldn’t mind playing a Shadowhunter, looks amazing in period clothing (an important point, I’m sure you’ll agree!) and plays the tormented hero well. He’s also not too old…I think he’d do a good job.
If we’re going for the dream scenario…I can’t shake Aaron Johnson. He just looks so much like him, he’s amazing and he’s just…Will. I can see the appeal in some of the other options out there like Colton Hayes, Tom Sturridge and Adam Gregory, but I think I prefer these two guys.
For Tessa…dream scenario is Astrid Berges Frisbey, but the only problem with her is that she’s French and not American like Tessa. Lookswise she’s perfect though. I’m not sure who I would go with apart from her.
For Jem…this is actually tough because the actors (Wu Zun, Eiji Wentz) I like are too old to actually play the part. I don’t know.
I don’t envy the casting directors. I have a hard enough time coming up with a shortlist - imagine actually having to cast the roles? Lets hope it’s a problem soon - I’d love a TID series of films!

Closer than brothers.
This is one of the best Eiji manips I’ve seen. He really looks good in period costume.
