Anonymous asked: For some reason, I've been seeing a lot of dreamcasts for the Infernal Devices lately. Is there talk of a movie coming out sometime soon (PLEASE) or is the surge in dreamcasts because of the new movie news we just got on City of Bones?

Hi! Sadly, no…no immediate plans for a movie (it makes me sad because I truly believe it would convert to the big screen better, but c’est la vie.) but that doesn’t mean there will never be a movie. I believe that Cassie sold the rights to TID along with TMI, so you never know…we could get one someday.

I think the fancasting is just people looking to find people who fit the characters in their heads. If we get news that a movie could happen, I’d bet a lot of the choices would hastily be re-written with more attainable/suitable people cast - but for now, there are no limitations on who we can imagine in the roles. Which is good for me, because I am a complete floozy when it comes to fancasting Will. ;)

So yes…no movie news, but fingers crossed that there may be one in the future!
