I love Logan as a fancast choice, but I don’t think he will take the actual role because he’s already doing a YA series. I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong, but I will confess to kinda getting attached to the Xavier Samuel as Simon rumour that was going about for ages last year.
I would love, love, LOVE Darren Criss as Magnus, but I’m almost realistic enough to realise that won’t happen (I’m trying to prep myself for the disappointment…no one can be as amazing as the Magnus I have in my head ;))
Other than that, I just want any casting news. I hope we get a big name as one of the main adult characters (just because of the calibre of star that are attaching themselves to YA film projects just now) but I just hope that the people we get are good. Dream scenario? I’m kinda attached to the Paul Bettany as Valentine fancast…
I just can’t wait for any casting news though! I’m at the stage where we could hear Kermit in a dress is playing Jocelyn and I would be down with it! lol

I love Aaron Johnson as Will, tbh. I think that he ticks all the boxes of what I imagine when I picture Will. He’s handsome, he’s a wonderful actor and he just has a look that screams Will to me. I have a few guys I can picture as him, but he will always be number one for me.
As for Nina…I can understand why people like her as Tessa, but I must confess that she’s not really someone I picture. She’s a beautiful girl, but I never get the ‘Tessa’ vibe off her most of the time.

Ok so why does everyone think Astrid Berges-Frisbey is Tessa? I mean I love Astrid she’s an amazing actress but Alexandra Daddario just screams Tessa for me. I mean look at her: (its the big gray eyes)

Your pic didn’t show up, so I added one below, but in answer to your question, I think that Astrid just looks very like how a lot of people see Tessa and since the character hasn’t been cast, there are a few actresses that capture the character for people. For Tessa, Astrid is probably the most popular fancast choice but there are a few different actresses who would be equally as good. You’re right - Alexandra would be a great choice as well. Who knows, one day she may become the popular fancast choice. I certainly wouldn’t mind!
